> Is Tom Tom 6 compatible with the N810
AFAIK, no since this is Windoze-only stuff and no sources so nobody has chances to try to port it. So you can ask Tom-Tom to port their program to Maemo platform but it is solely up to them if they're willing to do so or not.Really there is built-in program from Navteq, imho it's OK for use and basic features are completely free. Also there is Maemo Mapper. It has some funny features exclusive to this program (and lacks some features too).

> If you aren’t in a wifi hotspot, can you synch
> or otherwise use your cell phone to get web
> content?
Absolutely. If your phone supports something like GPRS or 3G and phone has bluetooth, you can access phone via bluetooth and browse via packet data connection. This works perfectly.

> Or better, to get live updates for traffic
> on the GPS system?
If there is any service in Internet, you probably can since packet data connection is still notmal internet.Maybe a bit handicapped in speed and traffic cost but anyway.

I WOULD LIKE TO USE THE NOKIA N810 AS A TOUCH
SCREEN WIFI REMOTE CONTROL FOR A MICROSOFT XP MEDIA CENTER,ATTACHED TO A WIFI NETWORK.
WILL THE N810 Software talk to MS ?
What are the interface Problems?
