EnGadget is reporting on Nokia shipping a GPS accessory for 770.

Called the Nokia Navigation Kit, this bundle will include the Navicore Personal 2007 software, an unspecified Bluetooth GPS receiver, and a car-mount rig, priced at €199; for the equivalent of $248, you’re getting TeleAtlas- and Navteq-based maps of continental Europe and the UK, although if you live elsewhere in the world (like we do), you’ll have to shell for additional street-level map packs.

can you get US cities’ maps?

Good question about US City maps, I wanted to know the same thing.

Is there, or will there be, Asian City maps? Hong Kong, Shanghai,Bangkok etc.

i bought one, still testing it, but initial impression is not so good.

Navicore site only mentions European maps. There are no US maps available as of now.

Dear All

I have purchased this Navigation Kit from expansys for 120 euros. The package will satisfy you completely because it has everything you need for car installation. What makes the difference on a GPS syste is the software, Navicore Navigation Kit is not an MLS Destinator (from NGi) but it can do the job really well. One major con i found is the internate update, they suck!!! If you ever try to update your maps via the internet, i bet you will start swearing…
It is pretty detailed concerning gas stations, hotels, etc. Imagine that it is pretty detailed for cities of Greece!!!!!

So if you have baught 770 then you should also buy Nokia Navigation Kit. The GPS reciever is sooo good with strong signal, and nice distance precision.

So to sum up, hardware rocks (GPS, car holder is robust, accesories), software need more working.
Online suport sucks.
