I used the readme to install the drivers on the nokia 700 device. The installation of XTERM was OK, but when I tried to install maemo-libpcre3.deb (ver 0.0.1), I got an error that the apllication isnot compatible software. I have OS version 3.2006.49-2. What's the answer to the problem?

My first thought was how can I get this to work with my Garmin Legend which only has a serial port? I'm sure it's possible using a serial to USB converter cable and a linux driver for it. It would be worth looking into.

It can be used with Nokia Bluetooth GPS and I think anything else goes as well. I've tried Nokia GPS myself and it worked. Although the GPS receiver is not the best in the world.
