I was ging to buy the Nokia 770 in December 2006, I was offered a $50 discount(w/discount code). I had to wait 2 weaks, so I could do Christmas shopping fot my kids. Mhen I went back to your site, The $50 Discount didn’t work :( . I will buy the Nokia 700 tablet(US Version), but I can’t afford to pay more than $310.00 + Shipping. PLEASE HELP.

I am not getting pop up window in IE and Firefox.
I also tried “When you are in the checkout page just pull up the source and you’ll see a URL for “Cart Reminder”, copy/paste the URL and hey presto= you’ll get the page offering $50 off” but do I pull up the source.

Any Hints? Thanks

I am getting pop-ups for $10 off, but not $50. Also, there is no cart_reminder reference in the source for the Checkout page (that I could find with “Find”). Has Nokia finally wised up to the con?

1. Thanks for the kudos, everyone, but I wouldn’t have known about the codes were it not for several others on this list (and I’d name them but I can’t remember them) who pointed out that there *were* these discounts.

2. It means that NokiaUSA is sold out. Sorry folks. A rumor (by someone in another thread) says that some 800+ preorders won’t be filled “in the first batch”, but nobody knows who they are or what percentage of people will have to wait longer. But it means that until further notice, Nokia isn’t accepting any orders. Here’s hoping that all of us who placed orders will be lucky.

3. No, Ms. (Mr.?) Pseudonym, the tax code is proof of evolution in action — nothing that complicated could ever have come from a design, intelligent or otherwise.

I noticed that the Nokia USA site has stopped taking orders. They are showing the “coming soon” screen again. Not sure what that means…I’ll leave the wild speculation up to others. :-)

When I go to the site, Nokiausa.com/770, I CAN’T find the ‘add to cart’ feature–Under ‘Buy it’ it takes me to the newsletter signup.

Am I missing something???

Bottom line–HOW do I buy this!?!

Interesting… I tried the “look for URL in source” trick, and it did work – except i now got a Nokia 6670(!!) in my cart in stead of the 770! I have never even been on the website before, so i have no idea why it randomly put that one into my cart.
