I tried OQO last night

Several images of me playing with OQO. Overall, pretty impressive, except for keyboard being not too convenient, and mouse buttons not too convenient.

I asked them about Nokia 770, they didn’t really think of it as competition.

Thanks a lot to Mike Arrington for organizing the event.

That’s a really nice machine. I can’t wait to see more of these kind of machines on the market. I believe OQO 01+ is just an interim version until Intel comes with a better processor. The current version of OQO uses a slow Transmeta processor.

yeah, i wished they employed a more powerful processor instead of the transmeta crusoe. and if they could employ a touch screen, it’ll rock ;)

btw alex, the screen seems kinda dark in the pictures, is it the screen or is it the lighting?

I think it’s just my camera and the general surroundings - a dark room with ambient lights folling the camera. It was reasonably bright, but the screen on Sony PSP is much brighter, I think.
